Across the road from the lamp there’s a tube light and a wall of posters, one per piece, in its real colour. Pull a size tab to bag it, or open a poster for everything else.

End of the concept

The Ratjaga site ends here.

Everything above is the storefront we’d hand the label. Everything below is Noqi, explaining why it’s built the way it is.

↑ Back to the wall

Why it’s built this way

A label that grew up on Instagram already has the photos and the following. What it lacks is a place that feels like the brand at three in the morning. So the shop is a wall under a streetlight, and everything a grid of cards would hold is on that wall.

  1. 01

    The wall is the shop

There’s no banner to scroll past. The page opens on the whole drop standing in a row, which is how a lookbook post already works, so the audience arriving from Instagram knows how to read it.

  2. 02

    Fit, measured on the wall

Oversized cuts get sent back because nobody can tell how they fall. Every look stands against the same painted scale, and every product page finds the model closest to your height, so “170 cm, wears M” is something you can check before you buy.

  3. 03

Colour you have to look for

A sodium streetlight leaves one colour in the world, and that mood is the label. The torch brings real colour back wherever you point it, and a product pulled off the wall is always lit true. Anyone who just wants to shop can flip the light switch.

  4. 04

    The drop is the ritual

The code goes up on stories and the alert comes over WhatsApp. The Instagram following gets walked to the shutter at the moment it opens, which is when a small label actually sells out. Checkout speaks the market too, with UPI first and cash on delivery a tap away.
